Rising 372 meters (1,220 feet) above sea level, Christoffel Mountain, or Christoffelberg, is the centerpiece of Christoffel National Park, the largest national park in Curaçao. Located in the Westpunt region, about 40 kilometers from Willemstad, the park encompasses diverse landscapes, from rugged hills and dry forests to caves and historical plantation sites. The hike to the summit is a popular activity, offering breathtaking 360-degree views of Curaçao and, on a clear day, even the island of Bonaire. The trail is considered moderately challenging, involving some rock climbing near the top, and typically takes 2-3 hours to complete.
