Car

From Groot Kwartier, head southeast on the main road towards Jan Thiel. Follow the signs for Jan Thiel Beach. Once you reach Jan Thiel, continue straight until you see the sign for Caracasbaai. Turn left onto Caracasbaaiweg. Continue on this road until you reach the entrance to Fort Beekenburg, which is located at 34CQ+W6R, near the old docks of Caracasbaai. There is no entrance fee to visit the fort.

Public Transportation

If you're using public transportation, look for a bus that goes towards Jan Thiel. You may need to take a bus to the main terminal and then switch to a local bus heading to Jan Thiel. Once you arrive in Jan Thiel, ask the driver or locals for directions to Caracasbaai. From the bus stop, it's about a 15-minute walk to the fort. Head towards Caracasbaaiweg and follow the road until you reach Fort Beekenburg. The total cost for bus fare will be around $2-$3 USD.

Taxi

Alternatively, you can take a taxi from Groot Kwartier directly to Fort Beekenburg. This will be the most convenient option, especially if you're traveling in a group.
