From Hato Caves, head south on the road leading out of the caves. Follow the signs directing you towards Willemstad. You will be driving on the Franklin D. Rooseveltweg. Continue on this road for approximately 10-15 minutes until you reach the coordinates 53J2+3Q3. The Indian Trail is located on your right. Look for parking areas nearby, as well as signage indicating the trail entrance.
Public Transportation
From Hato Caves, the best option is to take a local bus heading towards Willemstad. Look for bus stops near the entrance of Hato Caves. Board a bus that is marked for the Franklin D. Rooseveltweg route. The fare is typically around 2-3 AWG (Antillean Guilders). Inform the driver that you are heading to Indian Trail (or simply ask for the stop near Franklin D. Rooseveltweg). Once you arrive at the stop, walk back along the road for a few minutes until you reach the trail entrance on your right.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct option, consider taking a taxi from Hato Caves. Taxis can be found near the entrance of the caves. Negotiate the fare before starting the ride; it should cost around 15-20 AWG. The driver will take you directly to the Indian Trail entrance located at 53J2+3Q3, Franklin D. Rooseveltweg. This is a convenient option, especially if you are traveling in a group.
