From Willemstad, take bus 6A towards Caracasbaai. The bus departs from the bus terminal in Punda and travels along the southern coast. Get off at the 'Papagayo' bus stop, which is directly in front of Jan Thiel Beach. From there, it's a short walk to Jan Thielbaai. The bus ride takes approximately 45-50 minutes and costs around $1 USD (2 NAF). Buses run approximately every two hours.

Free parking is available at Jan Thiel Beach in a large parking lot. Note that there is an entrance fee to Jan Thiel Beach of 6 NAF / 3 USD (3 NAF with sedula). Entrance is free after 4:30 PM.
