Public Transport
From Willemstad, take bus 6A towards Caracasbaai. The bus departs from the bus terminal in Punda and travels along the southern coast. Get off at the 'Papagayo' bus stop, which is directly in front of Jan Thiel Beach. From there, it's a short walk to Jan Thielbaai. The bus ride takes approximately 45-50 minutes and costs around $1 USD (2 NAF). Buses run approximately every two hours.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis and ride-sharing services are readily available throughout Curaçao. A taxi ride from Willemstad to Jan Thiel Beach typically takes 20-25 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay around $25-35 USD for the trip. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
Driving
If driving from Willemstad, follow the main roads towards the southeast, heading in the direction of Jan Thiel. The route is well-marked with signs. Free parking is available at Jan Thiel Beach in a large parking lot. Note that there is an entrance fee to Jan Thiel Beach of 6 NAF / 3 USD (3 NAF with sedula). Entrance is free after 4:30 PM.
