Getting There

  • Car

    From Mahaai, head northwest on the main road toward Westpunt. Continue on the Weg naar Westpunt for approximately 30 minutes. You will pass the village of Barber and continue until you reach a fork in the road. Keep to the right, following the signs for Westpunt. After around 10 more minutes, you will see signs for Shete Boca National Park. Drive into the park area, and Boka Tabla will be clearly marked. There is a small entrance fee for the park, typically around $10 USD.

    From Mahaai, take a bus heading toward Westpunt. These buses are available at designated stops, and you can catch one from the main terminal in Mahaai. The bus ride will take approximately 45 minutes. After arriving in Westpunt, you'll need to take a taxi or walk (about 20 minutes) to reach the entrance of Shete Boca National Park. The taxi fare should be around $10-15 USD. Once at the park, follow the signs to Boka Tabla.
