Getting There

• Car

  From Mahaai, drive towards the main road (Curaçao Route 1). You will head northwest and follow the signs for Westpunt. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at Sabana Westpunt. Continue on the main road until you reach the area marked 9V8R+3GQ. Look for the entrance to Shete Boka National Park, where Boka Pistol is located. There is an entrance fee of approximately $10 USD per person. Once you enter the park, follow the signs to Boka Pistol which is a short walk from the parking area.

• Public Transportation

  Take a local bus from Mahaai to Westpunt. Buses often depart from designated bus stops in the area, but it's advisable to check the schedule in advance as service can be irregular. The fare is usually around $2-3 USD. Once you arrive in Westpunt, you can either walk or take a taxi to the entrance of Shete Boka National Park. The walk is about 20 minutes and will take you to the entrance where there is a fee of approximately $10 USD to enter the park. From there, follow the signs to Boka Pistol.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Mahaai to Boka Pistol. This will be the most convenient option, especially if you are traveling in a group. The drive will take approximately 30 minutes and the cost can range from $30 to $50 USD depending on the taxi service. Once at Shete Boka National Park, you will need to pay the entrance fee of around $10 USD per person. Follow the signs once inside the park to reach Boka Pistol.
