Getting There

  • Driving

    If driving from Willemstad, head west on Weg Naar Westpunt. Follow the signs towards Soto and Cas Abao. After passing Villapark Fontein, look for a yellow wall with a 'Cas Abao' sign and turn left onto the side road. The beach is about a 10-minute drive from the main road on an unpaved but manageable road. There is a secured parking lot available. The entrance fee is approximately $6 USD (10 ANG) per car from Monday to Saturday, and $7 USD (12.50 ANG) on Sundays and public holidays, for a maximum of four people. An additional fee of $1.40 USD (2.50 ANG) per person is charged for more than four occupants per car.

  • Public Transport

    From Willemstad, take a local bus heading towards Westpunt. Look for buses indicating 'Westpunt'. The bus ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Inform the driver of your destination, and they will drop you off near the beach entrance. From the bus stop, there may be a short walk to the beach entrance. The bus fare is around $2 USD.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are available from Willemstad to Cas Abao Beach. The ride takes about 40 minutes. Confirm the fare before starting your journey. The taxi fare can range from $70 to $112.50 USD. Arrange a return trip with the driver, as taxis are not readily available at the beach.
