From the center of Sint Michiel, head southeast on the main road (weg naar Jan Thiel). Continue straight for approximately 2.5 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and restaurants. Keep an eye out for the Jan Thiel sign on your right. After you see the sign, turn right into the Jan Thiel area. Continue straight until you reach the beach.
Public Transport (Bus)
At the main bus stop in Sint Michiel, look for a bus heading towards Jan Thiel. The buses are usually marked with a destination board. Board the bus and pay the fare; the journey takes about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the Jan Thiel Beach stop. Upon exiting, walk straight towards the beach access path which will lead you directly to Jan Thiel Beach.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Sint Michiel. Head southeast on the main road (weg naar Jan Thiel) and follow the same route as if you were walking. The bike ride will take about 10-15 minutes. Once you reach the Jan Thiel area, park your bike at the designated bike racks before heading to the beach.
