Public Transport
From the Curaçao International Airport, you can reach Willemstad by taking a Konvoi bus or a minibus. The larger Konvoi buses, operated by ABC, offer scheduled services to the main bus terminals in Punda and Otrobanda. Minibuses are smaller, privately owned vans that follow fixed routes and are a cheaper option. Bus fares range from 2 to 5 ANG, and it's best to have small bills or coins. Keep in mind that bus schedules can be flexible, so plan accordingly.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available at the Curaçao International Airport. While taxi fares are government-regulated, it's always best to confirm the price with the driver before starting your journey. A taxi ride from the airport to Willemstad typically costs around 71 ANG (approximately $40 USD), but could be $45 USD based on the taxi service. Be aware that there may be extra charges for night rides (11:00 PM to 6:00 AM) and for groups larger than four people. Tipping taxi drivers around 10% of the final fare is customary.
Driving
If you're driving from the Curaçao International Airport to Willemstad, follow the main road (Weg naar Westpunt) east. Continue onto Julianaplein, then take Helmin Magno Weils Boulevard. Follow the signs to Punda or Otrobanda, depending on your destination within Willemstad. Paid parking is in effect in most parts of Punda and Otrobanda from Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 6 PM, costing 1 ANG per hour. You can pay at parking meters using coins or the Flowbird app. Alternatively, the Renaissance Resort offers free parking, but overnight parking is limited to resort guests.
