Getting There

  • Walking

    From the central area of Willemstad, head towards the Queen Emma Bridge. Cross the bridge to the Otrobanda side. Once you are on the Otrobanda side, continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the Schottegatweg. Turn right onto Schottegatweg and walk until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with the Caracasbaaiweg. Cross the road at the traffic lights and continue along Caracasbaaiweg. After about 1.5 km, look for local signs directing you toward Berg Altena. Follow these signs; you will eventually see Landhuis Hel on your left. The journey should take about 30-40 minutes on foot.

  • Public Bus

    Start at the main bus terminal in Willemstad, located near the waterfront. Take bus number 3, which goes towards Berg Altena. Inform the driver that you are going to Landhuis Hel, and he will let you know when to disembark. The bus ride will take approximately 20-25 minutes. After getting off, walk a short distance along the road, following the signs to Landhuis Hel, which should be visible from the main road.
