From Avakas Gorge, head northwest on the main road towards Pegeia. After approximately 5 km, turn left onto the road leading to Cedar Valley. Continue on this road for about 7 km, following the signs for Paphos Forest. The forest entrance is marked, and you can park your vehicle at the designated parking area just before the main trail starts.

Public Transportation
From Avakas Gorge, walk to the nearest bus stop located on the main road. Take the bus heading towards Paphos. Once in Paphos, transfer to a bus heading to Cedar Valley. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the Cedar Valley stop, and from there, it’s a short walk (about 1 km) to the Paphos Forest entrance. There may be a small fare for each bus ride, typically around €1.50.

If you prefer to walk from Avakas Gorge to Paphos Forest, head northwest from the gorge along the main road. This is approximately a 12 km walk and may take about 3 hours. Ensure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the route can be quite exposed to the sun.
