Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the Ayia Napa town center, start at the Ayia Napa Square. From the Square, head east on the main road (Arch. Makariou III Avenue). Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Nissi Avenue (a pedestrian-friendly area). Follow Nissi Avenue for around 400 meters until you reach the traffic lights. At the traffic lights, turn left onto Protaras Avenue. Walk straight for approximately 600 meters, and you will see the Chapel of St. Elias on your right, perched on a hill overlooking the area. The path to the chapel includes some steps, so be prepared for a short climb.

    From Ayia Napa Square, you can catch a local bus that heads towards Protaras. Look for bus number 101 or 102. Board the bus and get off at the stop closest to the chapel, which is usually the 'Protaras' stop.
