Getting There

  • Walking

    Start your journey at the Protaras Main Strip (also known as the Protaras Avenue). Head towards the eastern end of the strip where you’ll find the Fig Tree Bay beach. From the beach, walk towards the coast and follow the coastal path (or boardwalk) that leads north. Keep walking along the coast until you reach the end of the path, where you will see signs for the Chapel of St. Elias. The walk will take approximately 20-30 minutes and will offer beautiful sea views.

    From Protaras, head to the local bus stop located near the Protaras Main Strip. Take the bus heading towards Ayia Napa (make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest timings). Get off at the 'Ayia Napa' stop and then transfer to another bus that goes towards 'Konnos Bay'. Get off at the 'Konnos Bay' stop. From there, you can walk approximately 15 minutes following the signs towards the Chapel of St. Elias, which is situated on a hill, providing a beautiful view of the area.
