Car
If you are travelling by car, start from Cedar Valley and drive towards Peyia. Head west on the main road (Paphos to Peyia). After approximately 10 minutes, you will reach the Peyia area. Look for signs directing you to Avakas Gorge Nature Trail. Once in Peyia, turn onto Avakas Gorge Road, which is well-marked. Continue on this road until you reach the entrance to the Avakas Gorge Nature Trail. There is no entrance fee, but be mindful of parking restrictions.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Cedar Valley to Paphos. Buses run regularly and will take about 30 minutes. Once in Paphos, transfer to a bus heading towards Peyia. The bus ride to Peyia takes about 20 minutes. From the Peyia bus station, you may need to walk or take a taxi for the remaining distance to Avakas Gorge Nature Trail, which is approximately 3 km away. Taxis are available at the bus station, and the fare should be around €10-€15.
Walking
For those who enjoy walking, if you're already in Peyia, you can hike to the Avakas Gorge Nature Trail. Starting from the center of Peyia, head towards Avakas Gorge Road. It's about a 3 km walk, which should take around 40 minutes. Ensure you have comfortable footwear and plenty of water.
