From Kakopetria Village, head southwest on the main road towards the B9 highway. Follow the signs for the B9, and continue driving for about 10 kilometers. You will see a sign for Platania on your right. Turn right into the area, where you can find a parking space. The scenic area is located amidst tall pine trees, perfect for a picnic.

In Kakopetria Village, find the bus station situated near the center of the village. Take the bus that heads towards the Troodos Mountains. Confirm with the driver that they will stop near Platania. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. After disembarking, you may need to walk a short distance, following the signs for Platania, which is accessible by foot from the bus stop.

If you are already in Kakopetria Village and wish to walk to Platania, start from the village center and head towards the main road leading to the B9 highway.
