Getting There

Walking
From Kyrenia Harbour, head east along the waterfront promenade. You will pass by several cafes and shops. Continue walking until you reach the end of the promenade, where you will see the Kyrenia Castle on your left. The Historic Lighthouse is located just past the castle, along the same waterfront path. The total distance is approximately 1 kilometer and should take around 15-20 minutes on foot. There is no fee to walk along the harbor.

Public Transport
From Kyrenia city center, you can take a local bus (Dolmuş) towards the harbor area. Get off at the stop nearest to Kyrenia Harbour and then walk along the waterfront promenade to the west. The Historic Lighthouse is just a short walk from the harbor, located at 20 Temmuz Kordonboyu Caddesi on your right. Local trips cost approximately 2.50 TL to 5 TL. Please note that the Dolmuş services are limited and may not cover all tourist attractions.

Taxi
Taxis are available throughout Kyrenia. Negotiate the fare before starting your trip. A 5km ride in Kyrenia costs about 11.5 EUR. The starting price is 4.0 EUR, and each KM is then priced at 1.5 EUR. Keep in mind that there may be additional fees.

Parking
If driving, paid parking is available near the harbor. Baldöken Otoparkı is the main and largest parking lot near the fortress and harbor. Ücretli Otopark is located even closer to the harbor and fortress, just a 2-3 minute walk. Free parking might be available along Kordonboyu Park, but spots are limited. Parking rates vary.
