Bus
From your location in Kyrenia, head to the nearest bus station. Look for a bus that heads towards Nicosia. Buses run frequently, so you shouldn't have to wait long. The journey typically takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Nicosia, get off at the 'Central Bus Station'. From there, you can either walk or take a local bus. If you choose to walk, exit the bus station, turn right on the main road, and continue straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the Archbishop's Palace, where St. John's Cathedral is located.
Shared Taxi (Dolmuş)
Look for a shared taxi (Dolmuş) that goes to Nicosia. These taxis usually leave from designated taxi stands in Kyrenia. Once aboard, inform the driver that you want to go to the Central Bus Station in Nicosia. The ride will take approximately 1 hour. When you arrive, exit the taxi and head towards the main street. Walk straight for about 15 minutes. St. John's Cathedral will be on your left, near the Archbishop's Palace.
Walking
If you are already in the city center of Kyrenia, you can enjoy a scenic walk towards the harbor area and then follow the coast to the bus station. From there, board a bus to Nicosia. After reaching the Central Bus Station in Nicosia, walk towards the main road, turning right and walking straight for about 15 minutes until you reach St. John's Cathedral, which is located near the Archbishop's Palace.
