Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the Kyrenia Harbor, a popular tourist spot. Head east along the waterfront promenade until you reach the end of the harbor. From there, turn right onto Atatürk Avenue. Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with İskenderun Street. Turn left onto İskenderun Street. Walk for another 10 minutes, and you will see The Liberty Monument ahead on your right in the central area of Nicosia.

    From Kyrenia, go to the main bus station located near the harbor. Take bus number 13 towards Nicosia. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Nicosia bus station, exit and walk towards the main street. Head north on the main road (Mehmet Akif Street) for about 15 minutes. You will see The Liberty Monument on your left side.

  • Bicycle Rental

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops near the Kyrenia Harbor. Head east along the coast towards the main road leading to Nicosia.
