Walking
If you're staying in Larnaca city center, particularly near Finikoudes Beach, you can walk to the Larnaca Salt Lake Trail. Head southeast along the coastline towards the Larnaca Marina. From the Marina, continue towards the Larnaca Fort, then proceed straight. The walk is approximately 3 kilometers (about 30-40 minutes). Follow the signs directing you to the Salt Lake Trail once you're in the vicinity of the lake. This is a straightforward, scenic walk. No costs are associated with walking.

From Larnaca city center, go to the Larnaca Central Bus Station (Faneromenis Street and Grigori Afxentiou Street intersection). Take bus number 425 towards Larnaca Airport. Ask the driver to notify you when you reach the Salt Lake area or Dhekelia Road. The bus journey takes about 20-30 minutes. From the bus stop, walk towards the Salt Lake Trail entrance (about 10 minutes), following the signs. A single bus fare costs approximately €1.50 during the day and €2.50 at night. Check the bus schedule in advance, as service frequency may vary.

Near the airport, take the exit towards Dhekelia Road. Continue along Dhekelia Road until you reach the Larnaca Salt Lake Trail. Parking is available near the trailhead (coordinates VJWJ+878). Parking is free at the designated parking areas near the trail.
