Getting There

  If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Larnaca. Head southeast on Grigori Afxentiou Street toward Kimonos Street. Continue straight onto Arch. Makariou III Avenue (B3) and follow signs for the Larnaca Salt Lake. As you approach the lake, look for signs directing you to the Salt Lake View Point. Parking is available near the viewpoint. Be aware that parking may incur a small fee.

  To reach Salt Lake View Point via public transportation, take the local bus from Larnaca city center. Look for the bus route heading to the Larnaca Salt Lake area; buses usually run frequently. Get off at the nearest stop to the lake and follow the signs toward the Salt Lake View Point. It’s a short walk from the bus stop to the viewpoint.   If you are already at Larnaca Salt Lake, the Salt Lake View Point is accessible by foot. Walk towards the water, following the pathways that lead around the lake. Keep an eye out for signs that indicate the way to the viewpoint. It's a pleasant walk that takes approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on your starting point at the lake.
