A Fabulous Day Out

Thank you to Elena for an excellent experience. We would highly recommend this without hesitation and consider it to be excellent value for money. . It felt like we were out for the day with a good friend. The tour was as stated with a few extra detours for our enjoyment. Every stop was excellent. Loved seeing the donkeys. The wine tastings were really interesting and well organised and Fiona at Vasilikon Winery was both interesting and fun. Lunch was delicious (huge portions) with a stunning view and the Botanical garden was interesting, with a wonderfully hospitable host. Please don’t be put off by the booking screen saying there are only 4 collection points. Contact the company to arrange pick up. They are brilliant at getting back to you. Again, thanks to Elena for a memorable day.

Fun Family Day

This was one of those days out that was so memorable. It was only ourselves and another family and Reno was a very good guide. We went to several stops and he explained about the history and was happy to answer questions, he was very relaxed with timings and was happy for us to take our time looking around. The highlight was the Botanical gardens, we were made to feel so welcome and it felt like we were made to feel at home whilst we were there. A slice of Paradise worth exploring. This ended up being a full day of exploring and was more than we expected, partly because the time spent at the Botanical gardens and the relaxed atmosphere meaning it was hard for us to alll leave to go back to the hotel. My daughter had fun, especially as several of the stops were child orientated, she loved seeing the cats and feeding the donkeys.

Today my son and I went to my idea of heaven on earth, probably one of the best places I’ve ever been. A slice of heaven for sure. The Adonis Botanic Gardens. Dr.Michalis Mountis who built the place with his wife , is a herbalist, naturopath, aromatherapist and environmentalist. He calls it a visual pleasure and spiritual tranquillity, it’s that and more. From the moment we arrived he made us so welcome that you’d think we’d known him a lifetime. It has a fresh water swimming pool which my son loved swimming in and he makes all of his own natural oils, drinks, herbs and perfumes on site. We sampled drinks and fruits, then got to try out his perfumes and natural oils, his knowledge is truly amazing. An incredibly kind man and his wife is gorgeous too, a day I’ll never forget and can’t wait to return . A definite jewel in Paphos.
