The Water Tower: A Historical Landmark of Limassol

This iron structure, approximately 40 meters tall with a 9-meter diameter, was a crucial component of Limassol's water supply system, holding a tank capacity of 500 cubic meters.Before the tower's construction, water was delivered to homes by water tankers, making the tower a significant advancement for the city. Its construction involved connecting iron sheets with iron nails, ensuring better quality and durability.
