Trooditissa Monastery: A Spiritual Retreat in the Troodos Mountains

The Trooditissa Monastery, located near Foini village in the Limassol district, stands as a testament to Cyprus's rich religious history and natural beauty. Pilgrims and visitors come to pray before the icon, seeking blessings and miracles. A large religious fair is held annually on August 15th, the day of the Dormition of Panagia, attracting many. While the monastery serves as a retreat for resident monks and is often closed to visitors, the church is generally open to the public.
