Stoa Phylactou: Limassol's Historical Gateway

Getting There

• Walking

  From the Limassol Medieval Castle, walk north along Agiou Andreou Street. Stoa Phylactou is located a short distance away at Agiou Andreou 4, on the left side of the street. The walk is approximately 5 minutes, passing shops and cafes. Look for the colorful umbrellas overhead marking the entrance to the arcade.

• Public Transport

  To reach Stoa Phylactou by public transport, take any bus that operates along the main routes in Limassol. The bus stop 'Agiou Andreou' is the closest stop. From there, walk north along Agiou Andreou Street for about 5 minutes. Stoa Phylactou will be located at Agiou Andreou 4. A single bus fare is €1.50 during the day and €2.50 at night. Tickets can be purchased on the bus.

• Taxi/Ride-Share

  Taxis and ride-sharing services are readily available throughout Limassol. Request a ride to Agiou Andreou 4. A short taxi ride from the Limassol Marina or other central locations will cost approximately €8-€12. Be aware that fares may increase during peak hours or at night. Base fare is around €5, plus €1.8 per kilometer.

• Driving

  If driving, navigate to Agiou Andreou Street. From the Limassol Marina, take Agiou Andreou Street heading north and continue for about 1.5 kilometers. Stoa Phylactou will be on your right at Agiou Andreou 4. Parking can be challenging in the immediate vicinity. Limited street parking may be available, but it is often full. Several paid parking lots are located within a few blocks, with hourly rates typically ranging from €2-€4.
