The exhibits span an impressive 9,000 years, beginning with Neolithic artifacts and continuing through the Bronze Age, Geometric, Archaic, Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine periods. Inside, you'll discover five halls, each with distinctive items. Hall 1 features prehistoric finds from 7000 to 475 BCE. Hall 2 hosts objects from the Archaic to Roman times, from 750 BCE to 395 AD. Hall 3 displays cartography from the mid-15th century through 1960. Halls 4 and 5 showcase Hellenistic and Roman glass, as well as Franconian ceramics. Prized items in the collection include Red Polished Ware from the Early Bronze Age, Roman glassware, and medieval ceramic dishes. The museum also houses a collection of old maps and charts of Cyprus and the Eastern Mediterranean.
