Shacolas Tower Museum and Observatory: Nicosia's Panoramic Window

The Shacolas Tower Museum and Observatory, a landmark in Nicosia, stands as a testament to the city's layered history. Completed in 1959 as the Manglis Tower, it housed the offices of General Engineering and Hellenic Mining Company and was the tallest building in Cyprus until 1978. Today, the first five floors are occupied by an H&M department store, while the 11th floor is home to a museum and observatory.The museum, in collaboration with the Leventis Municipal Museum of Nicosia, showcases photographs and narratives of Old Nicosia, offering a glimpse into the city's past.
