Step back in time at the Cyprus Classic Motorcycle Museum, a labor of love created by motorcycle collector Andreas Nicolaou. Located in Nicosia, the museum displays over 150 motorcycles dating from 1914 to 1983. Motorcycle aficionados will appreciate the array of brands, including AJS, MV Agusta, Matchless, Norton, BSA, Triumph, Ariel, BMW, James, Moto Guzzi, and Royal Enfield. The museum also features motorcycles with unique historical significance. See the three police bikes that once escorted Archbishop Makarios III, a motorcycle used by EOKA fighter Stylianos Lenas, and the bike of Cyprus's first motorcycle champion, Zeki Isa. In addition to the motorcycles, the museum includes a photography exhibit, a gift shop, and a small coffee shop. It's a captivating experience for anyone interested in motorcycle history and Cypriot heritage. Andreas Nicolaou started the museum in 1980, and it has grown to house over 450 motorcycles. All of the motorcycles are lovingly cared for by Andreas, who entertains visitors with the potted history of each bike.
