Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Ledra Street border crossing, walk north towards the city center. Once you cross the border, continue straight on the main street (Atatürk Caddesi). Keep walking until you reach the intersection with Selimiye Street (Selimiye Sk). Turn left onto Selimiye Street and continue for about 300 meters. The Selimiye Camii (Selimiye Mosque) will be on your right.

    From the Buyuk Han, a popular historic site, exit the courtyard and turn left onto Arasta street. Walk straight until you reach the end of Arasta, then turn right onto Selimiye Street. Continue on Selimiye Street, and you will soon see Selimiye Camii on your left, just a short walk away.

    If you are near the Cyprus Museum, head east on Museum Street until you reach the intersection with the main road. Turn left and walk north on the main road until you reach the intersection with Selimiye Street. Turn right onto Selimiye Street and walk about 600 meters. The Selimiye Mosque will be on your left.

    From the Ledra Palace Hotel, walk towards the Ledra Street border crossing. Once across the border, continue straight on Atatürk Caddesi. After about 500 meters, turn left onto Selimiye Street (Selimiye Sk). The Selimiye Camii will be on your right side after a short walk.
