Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Ledra Street area, head north towards the Ledra Street checkpoint. Cross into the northern part of Nicosia where you will find yourself on the main road, Atatürk Caddesi. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Girne Caddesi. Turn right onto Girne Caddesi, and continue walking for about 10 minutes. The Venetian Column will be on your left, situated in a small square. Look for the tall stone column which is easily recognizable.

Public Transport
From the central bus station in Nicosia (also known as the 'Bus Terminal' near the old city), take a bus heading towards the northern part of Nicosia. You can ask for the bus that goes to 'Girne' or 'Kyrenia'. After a short ride, disembark at the 'Girne Caddesi' stop. Once you get off the bus, walk along Girne Caddesi for about 5 minutes; the Venetian Column will be visible on your left side as you approach.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can cycle from the old city area. Start from the Selimiye Mosque and head north, taking the main road. Follow Atatürk Caddesi until you reach Girne Caddesi. Turn right onto Girne Caddesi, and continue cycling for about 10 minutes. You will see the Venetian Column on your left, in a small square. Make sure to park your bicycle securely while you enjoy the site.
