Public Transport
From Nicosia or Limassol, take a bus towards Troodos and alight at Kakopetria. From Kakopetria, you can take a local bus (Line 85) or a taxi to Platania, which is approximately 6km away. The bus fare from Nicosia or Limassol to Kakopetria ranges from €4-€8. A taxi from Kakopetria to Platania will cost approximately €12-€15. The Line 85 bus from Kakopetria to Platania costs €1-€2.
Driving
If driving from the center of Troodos, head east on the B9 road for approximately 10 kilometers. You will pass through the village of Platres. Look for signs directing you towards Platania. Turn into the site and follow the signs to the parking area. Parking is available near the entrance to the Platania National Reserve.
