From Polis, follow the main road towards the Akamas Peninsula. The road to Lara Beach is unpaved and can be challenging, requiring a 4x4 vehicle. Follow the signs towards Lara Beach, taking the rough dirt track. The journey takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Parking is available near the beach, free of charge, but can be limited during peak season. Be prepared for a bumpy ride!
Walking
For experienced hikers, a scenic coastal trail leads to Lara Beach from nearby areas within the Akamas Peninsula National Park. The hike can take several hours, depending on the starting point. Follow marked trails and be prepared for uneven terrain and limited shade. Ensure you have adequate water and sun protection.
