    From Paphos city center, take the bus to Peyia. From Peyia Municipality, you may need to take another bus or taxi to reach Pafos Zoo, which is located on Xylomantrou Street, Agiou Georgiou. A direct bus service to the zoo operates from Paphos during the summer months (April - October) and three times a week during the winter months (November - March). Check local bus schedules for the most up-to-date information. Bus fare from Paphos to Peyia is approximately €2. Additional fare for the bus from Peyia to the Zoo, if needed, will be minimal.

    From Paphos city center or Paphos Airport, a taxi or ride-hailing service (such as Bolt) is a convenient way to reach Pafos Zoo. The journey from Paphos Town Hall to the zoo is approximately 22 minutes and costs around €37.30 by Bolt. Taxi fares from Peyia to Pafos Airport are approximately €60. Pafos Zoo, the first and largest licensed zoo in Cyprus, is set in a lush natural environment spanning over 100,000 square meters. Founded in 2003 by Mr. Christos Christoforou to house his extensive bird collection, the zoo has grown to feature animals from all corners of the planet. Today, Pafos Zoo is home to over 1,200 animals representing more than 200 different species. Visitors can explore a diverse collection of mammals, birds, and reptiles. The zoo's residents include giraffes, monkeys, meerkats, crocodiles, kangaroos, albino wallabies, mouflon, white lions, and tigers. The zoo is also known for having one of the largest parrot and venomous snake collections in Europe. Bird lovers will enjoy the extensive collection of avian species, and the walk-in aviary provides an immersive experience. The reptile house features a diverse collection of lizards, snakes, and spiders. Pafos Zoo offers a variety of interactive experiences and educational programs.
