Adonis Baths Waterfalls: A Mythical Oasis

Adonis Baths Waterfalls, located near Koili village in the Paphos region of Cyprus, is a destination where natural beauty intertwines with rich mythology. According to Greek legend, these baths were the preferred meeting place for Adonis, the god of beauty, and Aphrodite, the goddess of love. It is said that the couple had many children here, and the citizens of Paphos are believed to be their descendants. The site features two-tiered waterfalls cascading into natural pools with cool, clear water, inviting visitors for a refreshing swim. Legend claims that swimming in these waters preserves youthfulness and strengthens both men and women.
