Mesa Potamos Falls, also known as Mesapotamos, is a hidden gem located in the Limassol District of Cyprus, within the Troodos mountain range. The name "Mesa Potamos" means "Middle River" in Greek, reflecting its location amidst a network of streams. Situated at an altitude of 900 meters, the waterfall is formed by the Arkolachanias River, with the water cascading down from a height of 7 meters. The falls are easily accessible via a short, well-marked trail from the Mesa Potamos picnic site. The path meanders through a forest of pine and oak trees, filling the air with the scents of wild herbs. The waterfall itself may not be the highest, but it is a picturesque scene, with water tumbling over moss-covered rocks into a shallow pool. The Mesa Potamos area offers more than just the waterfall.
