Nestled in the Troodos Mountains, the Troodos Botanical Garden showcases Cyprus's unique plant life. Established in 2004 within the Troodos National Forest Park, the garden is a center for conservation, education, and recreation, featuring endemic, rare, and endangered species. It's a living testament to ecological renewal on the site of a former asbestos mine.

Car
From Troodos Square, head south on the road towards Pano Amiantos. Follow the signs for Pano Amiantos, approximately 10 km away. As you approach Pano Amiantos, watch for signs indicating the Troodos Botanical Garden. Parking is available near the garden.
Public Transport
Take a bus from Limassol to Troodos Square. From Troodos Square, you can take a local taxi or arrange for a shuttle service to the Pano Amiantos area. The taxi ride should take approximately 15 minutes and cost around €10-€15. Alternatively, take a bus from Paphos to Amiantos, which requires transfers and takes approximately 3h 47m. From the bus stop in Amiantos, it is a short walk or taxi ride to the Botanical Garden.
