Highly recommend and amazing tour guide!

I would highly reccomend this tour. Michael was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what he does; he shared his personal experience with living in Cyprus and visiting the area before it was abandoned which made the experience even more insightful. The pace of the tour was relaxed and we were given options on how we would like to take the tour. I would advise this tour over the seemingly crowded and impersonal large tour buses as I saw some many of those while we visited.

A thought provoking and interesting day out with an expert guide

A really excellent tour. So glad we booked direct with Eos Tours. Our guide and driver was Vlad, who was excellent. Very knowledgeable and friendly. There were 5 of us and we had the minivan to ourselves. This was great as it meant we didn't have to do the hotel pick ups you get with the usual tours. This probably knocked 2-3 hours off the day, which was a good thing as it's already a long trip from Paphos to Famagusta. The archaeological site at Salamis is worth seeing, but probably the highlight is visiting the abandoned resort of Varosha. Very eerie and thought provoking. The walled city of Famagusta is nice enough. A great way to see more of the island and an interesting day out. You may pay slightly more for the trip with Eos Tours, but well worth the extra money for the intimate tour.
