Day Trips from Protaras

Cpt Marko - Blue Lagoon & Turtle Cruise with Optional Lunch

Good tour but with some inconveniences!

This tour offers great value and an enjoyable experience. The first hour is spent exploring a variety of caves, followed by snorkelling at Turtle Cove, where seeing turtles in their natural habitat is a real treat. Afterwards, you head to Blue Lagoon, where a delicious lunch is served. There's not much to see in terms of snorkelling at the Blue Lagoon, so lunch and a game to dive for a bottle of champagne provide a good distraction. The staff are generally excellent, although I found the bar attendant to be a bit rude. The tour would have been perfect if not for the inconvenient rule that requires you to open a tab of 10 euros to buy a drink. I simply wanted a coffee but was told I had to spend 10 euros, even though I had already spent 36 euros on three lunches! Don't rush to be on board by 9am, you won't depart until 10am!

From Protaras: Turtle Cove & Blue Lagoon Cruise

Excellent

Great trip. As others have commented, the boat was very clean. There was enough space for everyone to have a seat, a choice of sun or shade and a good view for all. There was a little commentary as we passed points of interest. The boat stopped twice for swimming, the first stop is where turtles are often spotted and we were lucky enough to snorkel with them. There are life jackets provided for kids if needed but I didn't see snorkels to borrow so I recommend taking your own. I appreciated the staff protecting the turles; insisting that no-one jumped off the boat in the turtle area, chased them, got too close or tried to touch them. The second stop was in a gorgeous turquoise bay where you could swim again or jump off the lower or upper deck. Our favourite activity while staying in Protaras!

Great trip and great tour guide Elena!

Great tour and greater tour guide - Elena! We’ve met super nice people and saw a real life of Paphos. We saw process making and tasing of vine, olives, bread, coffee, cheeses. Absolutely recommended! Ps: don’t each much for your own breakfast as you will be full of all tasting during the trip :)
