Walking
From the center of Pano Platres, head east on the main road (E903). After approximately 2 kilometers, look for a sign indicating the 200-year-old Oak Tree. Turn onto the dirt road and continue for about 1 kilometer until you reach the tree. The walk is slightly uphill and takes around 30 minutes. Ensure you wear comfortable walking shoes.
Public Transport
Take a bus from Limassol to Pano Platres. From the Pano Platres bus stop ('Κέντρο Πάνω Πλατρών' is the closest stop) , walk approximately 1.5 km to reach the Oak Tree. Follow the main road towards the coordinates (34.8864494, 32.8625445). The walk is slightly uphill. Bus tickets from Limassol cost approximately €2.
Driving
From Pano Platres, head east on the main road (E903) towards the Troodos Mountains. After approximately 2 kilometers, watch for a sign for the 200 years old Oak tree. Turn onto the dirt road indicated by the sign. Continue driving for about 1 kilometer and park in the designated area. The oak tree is a short walk from the parking area. Parking is free.
