From Troodos, head to the nearest bus stop and take the bus to Paphos. Buses run frequently, so check the schedule for the next departure. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Paphos, get off at the Kato Paphos Harbour stop. From there, Paphos Castle is just a short 5-minute walk along the Coastal Broadwalk. Follow the path towards the sea, and you will see the castle ahead.

You can hire a taxi from Troodos to Paphos. This option is more direct and will take around 40 minutes depending on traffic. Inform the driver that you want to go to Kato Paphos Harbour, and they will drop you off near the Coastal Broadwalk.
