If you are driving from Kyrenia, take the E751 highway towards the area of Arapköy. As you approach Arapköy, look for signs indicating Buffavento Castle. Turn onto Buffavento Kalesi Yolu and follow the winding road up the mountain. Be cautious as the road may be narrow and steep. After approximately 10-15 minutes, you will reach the parking area at the base of the castle.
Public Transportation
To visit Buffavento Castle using public transportation, take a bus from Kyrenia to Arapköy. Buses operate frequently, but check the local schedule for exact times. Once you arrive in Arapköy, you can either walk to Buffavento Kalesi Yolu, which is about a 30-minute walk uphill, or consider taking a taxi for a quicker and easier ascent. After reaching Buffavento Kalesi Yolu, follow the road until you arrive at the castle.
