Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the main town of Tylliria. Head southeast on the main road towards the Paphos district. Continue on the road for about 20 kilometers until you reach the junction for Pentalia. Turn left onto the road leading to Pentalia, which will be well-signposted. Drive through the village and follow the signs that indicate the direction to Yerania. The final stretch will involve a narrow, winding road leading up towards the mountain. Make sure to drive carefully as the road can be steep in some areas. Parking is usually available near the base of the mountain.
Public Transportation
For those opting for public transportation, take a bus from Tylliria to Paphos. Make sure to check the local bus schedule for the most accurate times. Once you arrive in Paphos, you will need to transfer to another bus that heads towards Pentalia. This bus may not run frequently, so it's advisable to check the timetable in advance. Upon arriving in Pentalia, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to reach the trailhead for Yerania. This walk will take you through the village and up a path towards the mountain.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi from Tylliria to Yerania. Taxis are available in Tylliria and can be booked in advance. The ride should take around 25-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Be sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey, as some taxis may not use a meter. Expect to pay around €30-€40 for the trip, which can be split among passengers if traveling in a group.
