Once you reach Zdobnice, look for signs directing you to the hiking trails or the protected area. There is parking available at designated areas near the trails. Be prepared to pay for parking, which typically costs around 50 CZK per day.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from a nearby town in the Beskydy Mountains to 'Rychnov nad Kněžnou'. From there, transfer to a local bus heading to 'Zdobnice'. The buses run several times a day, but be sure to check the current schedule as it may vary. The fare for the bus from Rychnov nad Kněžnou to Zdobnice is approximately 40 CZK. Once in Zdobnice, the hiking trails to the Eagle Mountains are accessible on foot from the bus stop.
Walking
If you find yourself in Zdobnice, you can easily reach the hiking trails on foot. The trails are well-marked, and you can ask locals for directions or use a map app on your smartphone. The hike from the center of Zdobnice to the main trailhead in the Eagle Mountains takes about 20-30 minutes. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear and carry water, as the terrain can be rugged.
