Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, you can navigate to the Church of Our Lady before Týn located at Staroměstské nám., 110 00 Staré Město, Prague. From the highway D1, take exit 2C towards Centrum. Follow signs for Staroměstské náměstí (Old Town Square). There is limited parking in the area, so be prepared to park in a nearby parking garage, such as the Palladium parking (address: Národní 1003/2, 110 00 Nové Město). Parking fees may vary, typically ranging from CZK 40 to CZK 60 per hour. Once parked, it’s a short 10-minute walk to the church.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, you can take the metro to the 'Staroměstská' station on line A (green line). From there, it’s a 5-minute walk to the Church of Our Lady before Týn. Exit the station and head towards the Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí). The church is located on the square, and you can easily spot its distinctive towers. A single ticket costs CZK 40 and is valid for 90 minutes, allowing transfers between the metro, trams, and buses.

• Walking

  If you are already in the vicinity of the Old Town, you can simply walk to the Church of Our Lady before Týn. The church is a prominent landmark on Staroměstské náměstí. Look for the towering Gothic spires, and you’ll find the entrance easily. This is a pedestrian-friendly area filled with shops and cafes, making it a pleasant stroll.
