Metro
If you are near a metro station, take Line A (Green Line) towards Depo Hostivař. Get off at Staroměstská station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs for the Old Town (Staré Město). As you walk up the stairs and exit the station, you will see the Vltava River in front of you. Turn left and walk towards the river. Continue along the riverbank until you reach the Charles Bridge (Karlův most). Cross the bridge and head straight until you reach the Old Town Square (Staroměstské nám.). You will find the square right in front of you.
Tram
Find the nearest tram stop and take tram number 17 or 18. If you are on tram number 17, get off at the stop called 'Křížovnické náměstí.' If you are on tram number 18, get off at 'Karlovy Lázně.' From either stop, walk east towards the Old Town Square. Follow the signs pointing to the Old Town Square (Staroměstské nám.). You will arrive at the square in about 5-10 minutes.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Old Town, simply head towards the Old Town Square (Staroměstské nám.). Look for the iconic Church of St. Nicholas (Kostel svatého Mikuláše) as a landmark. Walk towards it and continue straight until you reach the square. The area is pedestrian-friendly, so enjoy the sights as you walk. You can also ask locals for directions, as they are usually very friendly.
Bus
Locate the nearest bus stop and take bus number 194 or 207. Get off at the stop called 'Staroměstská.' From the bus stop, walk straight ahead towards the Old Town Square (Staroměstské nám.). It should take you about 5 minutes on foot to reach the square, where you can enjoy the beautiful architecture and atmosphere.
