Sailing Through History: Explore Prague's Vltava River with Parník

Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head towards Prague. From the D1 highway, take the exit towards Prague and follow signs for 'Centrum'. Once in the city, navigate to Na Františku 10, where Parník is located. Parking can be found at nearby parking garages or street parking, but be aware of any parking fees. The nearest parking garage is 'Parking Hlavní nádraží' which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the destination.

• Public Transportation - Train

  Travel to Prague via train. Most major cities in Bohemia have direct train services to Prague's main train station, Hlavní nádraží. Upon arrival at Hlavní nádraží, exit the station and head to the tram stop located just outside. Take tram line 3, 8, or 24 towards 'Zborovská' and get off at 'Karlovy Lázně' stop. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Na Františku 10.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  If you are coming from other towns in Bohemia, you can take a bus to Prague's Florenc bus station. Once you arrive at Florenc, exit the bus terminal and take the metro line B (yellow line) from 'Florenc' station towards 'Zličín'. Change at 'Můstek' to line A (green line) towards 'Depo Hostivař' and get off at 'Staroměstská' station. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk to Na Františku 10, where Parník is located.

• Walking

  If you are already in the Prague city center, Parník is easily accessible by walking. Use a map application to navigate to Na Františku 10, which is located near the Vltava River. The walk from popular tourist spots like Old Town Square or Charles Bridge takes about 10-15 minutes.
