Car

After about 20 kilometers, take exit 13 towards Nové Strašecí. Follow the signs for Křivoklát (the castle is well-signposted). The drive should take around 45 minutes. There is parking available near the castle, but it can be limited during peak tourist seasons.

To reach Křivoklát Castle using public transportation, start by taking a train from Prague's main train station (Hlavní nádraží) to Rakovník. Trains to Rakovník depart frequently, and the journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Rakovník, you will need to take a bus to Křivoklát. The bus schedule may vary, but there are typically several departures throughout the day. Make sure to check the local bus timetable in advance. The bus ride from Rakovník to Křivoklát takes approximately 30 minutes.

Walking
