Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Český Krumlov. From Prague, take the D1 motorway in the direction of Brno, then merge onto the E55 towards Č. Budějovice. Continue on the E55 until you reach Český Krumlov. Once in the town, follow signs for the Castle and park in one of the designated parking areas. The Castle Garden is located at Zámek 59, just a short walk from the parking area.
Public Transportation
To reach The Castle Garden via public transport, take a train from Prague to Český Krumlov. Trains run frequently and the journey takes about 2.5 to 3 hours. Once you arrive at the Český Krumlov train station, you can take a local bus or a taxi to the town center. If you choose to walk, it’s about a 20-minute walk from the station to the Castle Garden. Follow the signs to the castle; The Castle Garden is located at Zámek 59, Latrán 381 01.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from the train station in Český Krumlov directly to The Castle Garden. The taxi ride typically costs around 200 CZK and takes about 10 minutes.
Walking
If you’re already in Český Krumlov, The Castle Garden is accessible by foot. Simply head towards the center of the town, following the signs for the castle. The walk from the town square to The Castle Garden will take about 10-15 minutes. Make sure to enjoy the scenic views along the way!
