Public Transport

From the center of Brno, head to the Brno Main Train Station (Hlavní nádraží). Take bus number 143 towards 'Křtiny, rozc. ' and get off at 'Křtiny, žel. st.' bus stop. This journey takes approximately 35 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus stop, proceed to the nearby train station and catch a train to 'Skalice nad Svitavou'. The train ride will take around 15 minutes. After arriving at 'Skalice nad Svitavou', exit the station and follow the signs for the hiking trails leading to Dolní můstek Macochy. The walk from the train station will take about 30 minutes.
Walking

If you prefer to walk from the city center, start at the Špilberk Castle. From there, head south towards the Brno Zoo, passing through the park. Continue to follow the path that leads towards the Moravian Karst area. The hike to Dolní můstek Macochy will take approximately 2 hours, but the scenic views along the way are well worth the effort.
Bicycle Rental

For a more adventurous option, rent a bicycle in Brno. Head towards the bike paths that lead to the outskirts of the city.
