  • Public Transport - Tram

    From the center of Brno, head to the nearest tram station, 'Hlavní nádraží' (Main Train Station). Take tram number 4 in the direction of 'Pavlovská' or tram number 12 in the direction of 'Kohoutovice'. Get off at the 'Špilberk' stop, which is a short walk from the museum. Once you exit the tram, head up the hill towards Špilberk Castle. The Museum of the City of Brno is located at Špilberk 210, just inside the castle grounds.

    If you are starting from the Liberty Square (Náměstí Svobody), walk southeast toward the Špilberk Castle. The distance is about 1 km and should take approximately 15 minutes. Head down the street 'Masarykova' and then turn left onto 'Křížová'. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of the castle. The Museum of the City of Brno is located at Špilberk 210, inside the castle.
