Public Transport
From Brno-Bystrc, head to the nearest bus stop, which is likely 'Bystrc, Kníničky'. Take bus number 303 towards 'Veverská Bítýška'. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes. You will need to pay for a ticket, which costs around 24 CZK for a single adult fare.
Walking
After you get off the bus at 'Veverská Bítýška', walk towards the sign for Veveří Castle. Follow the signs leading up the hill, which is well-marked. The walk is about 1.5 km and should take around 20-25 minutes. The path is scenic and surrounded by nature.
Boat
Alternatively, if you prefer a more scenic route, you can take a ferry from Brno to the castle. Check the ferry schedule at the Brno Dam and catch a ferry towards 'Veveří'. Note that the ferry operates seasonally and may incur additional costs, usually around 70 CZK for a one-way ticket.
